Well, you could try using the Back button (lower left on the interview screen, NOT the back key in your browser) - this usually won't hurt your answers.
However, if this is a concern, then do what you originally planned, continue the interview and if at the end, you haven't seen this, then you can make the jump them.
Sorry, we tax pros spend all of our time jumping around to specific points so it didn't occur to me that you might want to follow the interview.
Do it the way you are comfortable with.
