As I just posted in the other related thread, this is so incredibly frustrating. A simple thing to fix, and yet here we are years after the original post/report and it has not been fixed.
TurboTax for Business 2020 still has two incorrect checks that block e-filing for California.
1. "Secretary of State file number must contain at least 12 digits"
2. "Secretary of State file number must begin with the digits 19 or 20"
Both are wrong. California gives corporations seven digit file numbers. Maybe not all corporations are given seven digit numbers, but many of them are. And they don't begin with 19 or 20.
Ridiculous.
