Joint tax refunds always have "and" between the names, never "or". Besides, that's not your problem; your problem last year was your bank wouldn't allow a joint refund to be deposited to an individual account. The only fixes for this are either (a) open a joint bank account or (b) find another bank that won't refuse a joint refund.
