The IRS sent a letter saying I owe due to incorrect SS overpayment reported for 2014.

I received a letter saying the IRS corrected my 2014 return and the amount reported for excess SS and RRT tax withheld on line 71 was incorrect. I simply typed in the amounts from my W-2. I'm not sure how this is an error?
