After you file
It depends on what information they are checking on your return. Most taxpayers in your position have gotten a letter within 30 days explaining what the review is for and what other information they are requesting. As soon as you get anything from the IRS and they ask you for information, provide it as soon as you can. The longer it takes for you to get that information to them, the longer it will take them to process.
Once the have what they need if anything, or are just doing a simple review, they are usually done within the time frame they told you. Keep checking Wheres my refund, new information will be posted there by the IRS regarding your refund.
