After you file

If nothing changed, no, you do not have to file an amendment.  Based on the IRS Topic 308 - Amended Returns

If you discover an error after filing your return, you may need to  amend  your return. The IRS may correct mathematical or clerical errors on a return and may accept returns without certain required forms or schedules. In these instances, there's no need to amend your return. However, do file an amended return if there's a change in your filing status, income, deductions, or credits. , or to change amounts previously adjusted by the IRS.

You may use that information to determine if you need to file an amendment or not.  If you need to do so, you may begin by clicking the link below and selecting 2016 then follow all the directions.  However, remember that you generally have 3 years to amend your taxes unless you will owe, then it would be best to do soon to avoid additional interest and penalties.
