When filing 1040x for amended tax return, if I am going to get more refund from IRS, and if I leave form 1040X line 23 empty, will IRS send me a check for the refund?

I am filing an amended tax return for year 2016. And line 22 of form 1040X shows I will get some refund from IRS. I don't want to apply it to next year's estimated tax. I want to get a check for it.

If I leave form 1040X line 23 empty, will IRS send me the check for the refund?
