After you file
Depending on which tracker tool provided you with a date, if the IRS
Where's My Refund?
stated the 23rd, then they have either mailed a paper check or deposited the funds into your chosen method of payment, (direct deposit or Netspend card for example). The deposit can take up to 5 days to post to your account, depending on the financial institution, and paper checks can take even longer. If the IRS website was the one who provided the date of the 23rd, hang tight, your refund will be there soon.
If the TurboTax Refund Tracker was the tool that provided a date, then this is only a projected date on when you can expect your refund, based on other TurboTax customers who have already received their refunds. If this is the case, use the IRS website for the most accurate information.
Hope this helps!
