It can
take anywhere from a few hours to 3 weeks for the IRS to officially accept your
return. The WMR updates daily so try not to worry. If the status has not
changed in the 21 days that the IRS asks to wait, then try contacting the IRS at 1-800-829-1040, but prepare for potentially long wait times.
