After you file

To change the dependent status within your tax return, please use the following steps:

1. Log into TurboTax.com,
   
2. Click on Personal Information,
3. Click on You & Your Family,
4. Click Edit next to your name ,
   
5. You will see you name, D.O.B. and SSN,
6. Click continue,
7. On the next screen tilted Does Any of These Apply,
8. Check or uncheck the third box down that says; Someone else can claim you on their tax return.
