To learn more about the letter you received, follow the advice of Bsch4477 and call the phone number on your letter.

 

However, the numbers you mentioned appear to be related to having multiple employers and reaching the maximum amount of Social Security tax withholdings for the year.  If your W-2s had different EIN numbers, then TurboTax would have likely included the excess amount of $3165 on your Form 1040 Schedule 3 line 11.  

 

You probably do not need to amend your return, but the IRS can advise you if that is necessary when you call.
