I opened up Turbo Tax Desktop 2025 and chose amend return. I updated only the data that changed (a corrected 1099-DIV). I went thru all the questions. I had previously filed my return, it was accepted and I received that refund. The program is NOT pulling in the original data, so there is no recalculation of the new amount of refund I am owed.
What am I doing wrong that it is not pulling in the original 2025 tax return that I filed? Could it have something to do with the name I saved the original tax return under?
