I do need to file estimated taxes and it appears I received the update regarding the IRS form, however, TurboTax will compute amounts for the 100% (110%) of your actual 2025 taxes option. When I select any other, the message I posted earlier appears and nothing appears in the printed (PDF).
By contrast, the state version of generating estimated taxes works like a champ for 100% of tax on your estimated 2026 estimated taxable income so this seems like a bug in the software. The form not being final was not my issue as I know how to pay online (and have been doing so for years).
I am hoping the Intuit folks can check this out - and confirm the federal estimated tax calculator is not working for computing 100% of the 2026 estimated taxes.
