IRS showed my return was accepted but need bank details. I provided. Then showed it changed my refund from mailing to direct deposit. How to get the check by mail?

I prefer the refund as a check rather than directly to the bank. I gave bank info because I thought it is mandatory. I want to know how to change the refund status back to mailing the check.
