If you originally prepared your tax return using TurboTax, you can amend it by logging into your account, opening the filed return, and clicking the link amend your return. The software will guide you through the necessary steps.
Important Note: The current version of TurboTax doesn't allow deductions for tips on overtime if those tips weren't reported on Form W-2, 1099-NEC, 1099-MISC, or 1099-K.
If this applies to your situation, I recommend waiting for a software update before filing your amendment. Otherwise, you may proceed with the amendment steps outlined above.
