You can not attach PDFs to any version of TurboTax. Nor are the tax forms you received or PDFs thereof needed or required when e-filing. What the IRS seems to be saying is that the info for that 1099-R was not included in your e-filed return. If it was a TurboTax glitch, you can file a claim for reimbursement of any penalties and/or interest
When you enter data in the TurboTax app (or any other tax app) that's a simulation of a tax form or worksheet, so you have a visual reference and info on what to enter. In actuality, the only things that exist on the section of the TurboTax disk drive for your account are the alphanumeric data that you enter.
