I filed my taxes for 2024 and when I filed my NJ return the software took and added the income in box 1 with box 16 which increased my wages significantly. I had no income from NJ I just had a mininal amount deducted should I owe taxes. For several years of filing as a resident of NJ I only received a refund of 50.00 and didn't owe. I work in NY and cant for the life of me understand as to why the system would combine the income to a number more that what my actual salary is. I have been assessed interest on monies I don't owe. I've called Turbo tax to inform them of the error and ask for it to be looked into. I'm now in need of revising my return and I hope that Turbo tax resolves before I file my 2025 return. Since my account has already paid for the 2025 software,,,,
