Thank you very much. Your advice is what I am thinking as well except for filing CA first since am just a bit concerned that I would have to pay CA first but not sure if there is a risk that I may not get credit back from NY.
I want to clarify that I did file CA since there was CA withholding at the time and I filed 2022 as nonresident to claim back all the withholding.
Not looking forward to paper file but doesn't look like I have a choice.
