On The Smart Worksheets Form From 1040 : Individual
Line K says "Line 15, Taxable income. Line K less line L (if less than xero, enter as negative)". Does NOT compute.
On Social Security Benefits Worksheet
Line 20 says "Taxable Social Security benefits. Enter the smaller of line 18 or line 19 Also enter this amount on Form 1040, line 6b . . .". On my return line 18 has a positive value and line 19 is blank/zero (no value shown), however, lone 20 contains the value from line 18. Seems like an error.
