I also added the following as an Edit Note to my original answer above from yesterday afternoon October 31. I'm mentioning here it again so that it hopefully emails you a notification from this forum. That information in my original answer changed as of last midnight. As of November 1, it is no longer possible to efile a 2024 return, and it looks like 2024 Online TurboTax has already shut down for the season (at least for me.)
If your Online TurboTax has shut down after midnight October 31, and if you need to still work on your return, you'll have to use 2024 desktop software. If you've already paid for Online TurboTax, then TurboTax Support should furnish you the 2024 software. Log into Online TurboTax, and you'll probably get a message saying to download your *.tax2024 data file using the link it provides so you can open it in the desktop software.
