I filed in January, accepted, and just received an email that since my line 12 W2 and filed tax return are different that I need to refile. I itemized using the $80 paid TurboTax feature. I included property taxes I paid for my owned home that I live in, in Florida, which I was under the impression I was allowed to do. However, did I do something wrong? Did the information just get processed improperly on my end or on TurboTax's end? What am I supposed to do? Is the IRS going to come after me now?
I've tried calling but the hold time is up to 50-55 minutes so while I wait I would like some suggestions.
