Well it's kinda complicated due to every situation being different, there is a timeframe they have to do the audit but it is sometimes a long process. They audit your taxes not your check so they will probably want more verification that what you told them is true. It could also be if you made any mistakes unintentional. They will contact you sending more info regarding that. Likely you will not see your check until after the audit has been completed and then it will still take a little time to get it possibly you will get a check for interest because I did.
