@UB5 I was having the same issues that you had, tried over and over again. What finally made it work for me:
When I selected File >> Print instead of selecting "Recommended forms & worksheets" (which failed every time), I tried "All forms & worksheets". <-- selecting "All forms & worksheets" worked and allowed me to print and save the PDF version. Selecting "Tax return only" also failed over and over again. File >> "Save to PDF" also didn't work for me.
FYI - before I did all of the updating I could think of including updating my Mac (running on 13.7.8 Ventura), updating TurboTax, completely reinstalling TurboTax (using this article's advice), and restarting after every single step. None of that specifically helped by itself--only when I selected the "All forms" option.
