Unless you had filed 4868 request for extension of your 2021 filing deadline,
it is now too late to submit 1040-X for a 2021 refund.
Your only hope is that your amendment is in progress somewhere at IRS.
Some amendments can take 10-12 months or longer before you hear anything.
