I apologize for the passive aggressive comment there and admit it was unnecessary. It’s just so difficult to find information beyond the typical IRS lip service- seemingly impossible to find any other response besides those same repetitive and carefully crafted cookie-cutter IRS allowances!
I did not realize- and it’s on me I know- that there was any disconnect between public and admin replies, or that the option exists to exclude a particular party from responding. I get that any representative must be severely limited in his/her replies- it’s crucial to those who stand behind them to stick to the script, just as it is with any company providing a service
So again my apologies for making an arse of myself by just immediately reacting rather than taking the time to leave a somewhat intelligent and informed comment. I believe this post was at least the 20th in a long line of previous searches wherein every single answer was the exact same, verbatim...peaking my frustration and thus becoming the preceding catalyst for my little tantrum. I’m not qualifying my comment, just explaining how it came to be!
Thanks for your patience in your reply to me as well...it can be difficult to bite ones tongue in certain scenarios, especially when I’m sure you have to deal with many more than just a couple angry people every day.
