Line 6 Col A includes amount from Schedule 2 Line 3 and so does Col C.
That's 1040 Line 17, separate from Line 16
Your tax is therefore Line 18 which is the sum of 16 and 17.
Use 1040-X Line 10 for an increment that comes from Schedule 2 Line 21 .
