Thanks, Susan, I like that advice! I've received notices in the past for things like not including a dividend from a 1099-DIV and, if memory serves me, the IRS started calculating the interest owed at the time of the letter generation. Is that the case or does the clock start running Apr. 16? With all the IRS staff reductions I'm sure this will get settled some time in 2026!
