I have already filed my taxes for 2024, and of course for 2023.
Given that the figures reported for allowable mortgage deduction in Schedule A, line 8A as calculated by Turbotax are incorrect, I expect to be audited, or at the very least, receive a notice from the IRS with additional tax due.
It is essentially the same error for my 2022 taxes, for which I was audited, and for which I had to pay additional taxes, fees and interest. Based on this discussion, I don't think this error has been fixed by Turbotax.
