After you file

Based upon the numbers provided, you may not have a filing requirement in Arizona.  For 2024, individuals are required to file an income tax return if their Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) is more than $14,600 if single or filing separately, $29,200 if filing jointly, or $21,900 is filing as Head of Household.  If your income is below these limits, then you would not need to file an Arizona return.

However, since Arizona reports income in the same manner as your federal return, if your AGI on your federal return exceeds these amounts based upon your filing status, you would have a filing requirement in the state.

Make sure you go through the state interview section to generate the Arizona return.  Please see how do I e-file my state after I already filed my federal for more details on completing your state return.
