The IRS found an error in my return (this would be Turbo Tax's error, not mine) and changed my return. My return said on line 6b thatmy Social Security benefit was not taxable ), so my anticipated $4,723 refund became a $5,731.87 amount due.
So assuming the IRS position is correct (which i believe in general terms to b correct),r how is Turbo Tax going to fix this (I merely provided numbers from the applicable forms, Turbo Tax made the determination and completed the form saying my Social Security benefits were not taxable).
