I received a 6174-A letter. What's the difference between 6174-A and 6174? I also have been racking my brain to try to figure out what I may have missed when filling prior tax years. Also, how far back do I need to look. I keep seeing amended returns has a limitation of three years? But I'm not sure what year they may be referring too and how far back I need to dig.
