Because I included his pension as W-2 wages and not under pension wages, I had to pay taxes on my state return. I live in the state of Georgia, pensions are not taxed therefore I overpaid on my state return in 2023. I need to file an amendment to get my overpayment. I filed online with desktop TurboTax.
