That worked, thank you. I noticed that the 2024 year now shows up in "Your tax returns & documents", and it did not before. It has been about 2-1/2 hours since the IRS accepted my return, so maybe there is a processing delay before the new return can be accessed in "Your tax returns & documents" so you can "Add a State". Now that it is there, it works just as you described. Patience is required sometimes. I wish I had some.
