After you file

Check your refund against what the IRS has on your transcript.

You may be affected by a discrepancy.

Apparently Intuit Payments Inc (IPI) had an issue that created duplicate orders for the five day early deposits. This caused an issue where SBTPG wasn't able to verify or locate these taxpayers with the info they were given, and also caused the refunds to not be sent five days early.

I can almost guarantee you that your deposit from Turbo Tax will be less than what is shown on your IRS transcript by your 846 code. Also, check your TurboTax account- look in your order history. If you see duplicate orders with different order numbers with the $25 Early Refund fee, you're one of the customers that was affected.

This is why many customers are receiving paper checks in the mail from Intuit Payments, INC drawn on Cross River Bank for random amounts, less than $1k. My issue is that Intuit knows about this issue, and has failed to alert customers or their own TurboTax customer service reps that this is a thing- textbook bad faith and a potential violation of the Federal Electronic Fund Transfer Act.

Just saying...  😉
