After you file
Because right after you select the big orange button to electyronically file your return, the next page says:
"Even though you e-filed, you're still required to print and mail these forms.
Don't skip this important step! Your return isn't complete without it. Explain This
Seems pretty clear to me why the question! First of all, the "Explain this" link does not lead to an explanation.
I've never seen this notice before, HOWEVER I have never needed to go to the IRS for a payment plan. AND because TurboTax does not provide an appropriate bypass to electronically file your return without filling out the 94XX (whatever it is) form (so you can wait for the IRS to give you your amount due and then go online with the IRS to apply for payments), thus you are forced to select "I'll mail a check" in order to get past it and e-file your return
I am not going to mail a check. I am going to create an IRS account online to set up payments once I recieve an amount back from the IRS -like the instructions tell me. Is it safe to assume I can ignore this TurboTax notice?
