After you file

TurboTax doesn't automatically include all city tax forms. However, it does include Kansas City forms such as Form RD-108B and Schedules C, Y, and Z. If you don't see these forms, ensure you've selected the appropriate state and city tax options during setup.

Two options to File the Kansas City Forms:

Option #1

To check and see if the forms are there, follow these steps:

  1. Open or continue your return.
  2. On Tax Home, select Start, Continue, or Pick up where you left off to enter your return.
  3. In the left menu, select Tax Tools and then Tools.
  4. In the pop-up window Tool Center
  5. Look for  Form RD-108B and Schedules C, Y, and Z

If you do not see the forms:

Navigate to the State Section:

  • Scroll down to State section and select Missouri from the dropdown menu.

Review and Edit State Information:

  • Select "Edit" next to Missouri.
  • Go through the state interview questions again, ensuring you select Kansas City when prompted for city tax information.

Option#2

  • Kansas City's Official Website: All Kansas City taxes must be filed electronically as of January 1, 2025. You can file and pay online at kcmo.gov/quicktax
