Wish I could help. I started this post and am not having any problems. Here's what I have done. Under 'My Info' I have my new address. When TT asks later if I moved (in 2024) the answer is 'No'.
I haven't encountered any problems.
At what point do you encounter problems?
As a last resort I suppose you could print out your tax forms and mail them in with your new address written over the old. Then there is the question of which processing center to mail them to.
I should add that nowhere should a date in 2025 be a part of the 2024 tax return.
