If your W-2 was issued incorrectly, you should ask your employer to issue you a corrected one. They are required to provide you with a correct Form W-2.
Ohio has a reciprocity agreement with Kentucky. Under a reciprocity agreement, the income earned in these states for Wages and Salaries is taxable to Ohio and should be included on the Ohio return.
A reciprocal agreement, also called reciprocity, is an agreement between two states that allows residents of one state to request exemption from tax withholding in the other (reciprocal) state.
This will save you from having to file multiple state returns.
