If you chose to pay your TurboTax fees out of the Federal refund, there is a $40 service fee ($45 for CA) for that option. But that still doesn't explain the rest of your fees. You didn't state what products you used and whether you had any add-ons like a state return, LIVE help, MAX Benefits, etc. You can check your fees this way:
- Log in and at the Tax Home, open your return interview back up (but don't make any changes in it since it's already been filed.)
- Under "Your Tax Returns & Documents" see if there is an Order Details link.
- If not, then on the Tax Home you may have to look for a link "Add a State" to re-open the interview and then follow the steps below. That doesn't really add one, but gets you back in.
- When the interview is open, go to the left menu column and click on TAX TOOLS, then subtab Tools.
- In the Tools window, click on MY FEES.
