After you file

If you indicated that you paid your taxes in full on your original return, the Amended return would reset to -0- taxes owed.

 

If your amended return did not reset to -0- , and you did pay the taxes due to the IRS from the original return, go to:

 

  1. Deductions & Credits
  2. Estimates and Other Taxes Paid
  3. Income Taxes Paid
  4. Payments with 2024 federal extension
  5. Enter the additional amount that you paid to the IRS.
  6. This will reset the meter to zero.
