After you file
This work-around works, I used it, that's the good news. The bad news is that I spent several hours on the phone over the course of this past Monday and Tuesday (3/3-3/4/25) and the customer service reps had no idea about this problem or this work-around. Furthermore this seems to be a known problem in the user community and based on posts here, should be a known problem to Intuit. Why hasn't this been handled better? I use a Mac running MacOS Ventura 13.74, the most current software. I could neither print nor convert the file to a pdf. After using this work-around I managed to do both, but have spent a ton of time on it. I downloaded my desktop version of Turbotax Premium though a deal with Fidelity Investments, a major US brokerage/financial firm. The download went through Intuit's web site. I asked for a replacement application, was told no, b/c I got it thru Fidelity, not Intuit. My understanding is there are no more disks, just electronic downloads. So if I bought my download from a retailer like Best But or Sam's Club, would you not stand behind it as per the answer regarding my Fidelity/Intuit download? This all seems very poor and disappointing. I've been a Turbotax user for many years, most recently buying it to do my daughter Christina's taxes. Will likely look elsewhere next year for a tax program.
