To address this issue, I recommend the following steps:

 

  1. Contact TurboTax Support:  Reach out to TurboTax's customer service here directly. Explain the situation and ask for clarification about the $21 fee. They should be able to provide details about the third-party involvement and whether a refund is possible.
  2. Review Your Agreement: Check the terms and conditions or any agreements you signed during the filing process. Sometimes, these fees are mentioned in the fine print.
