After you file
If I understand correctly, you can get into your tax return, and you want to make a change to your property tax.
If this is accurate, Yes, there is a twist in the program that you may have missed.
Select Deductions and Credits from the left sidebar.
- You will see both
- Mortgage Interest and Refinancing (Form 1098)
- Property (Real Estate) Taxes
- The natural instinct is to select Property (Real Estate) Taxes
- However, you cannot EDIT the original post
- Select Mortgage Interest and Refinancing (Form 1098)
- This is what you originally posted and you can edit the property tax.
In fact there is some trick you don’t know about
