In TurboTax Online, open your return and go to the Schedule K-1 topic.
- Select the partnership K-1 then edit the K-1 where you may have entered Supplemental Expenses.
- Continue through the interview after the box entries to the page "Describe the Partnership."
- Confirm you checked the first line for "I am required to pay supplemental business expenses..."
- Answer "yes" to the question about "...your own pocket?".
- Answer "yes" to the question about vehicle expenses.
- Continue to enter your vehicle information.
- Continue two screens to "Report Vehicle Expenses."
- Here you can review your entries and make changes as needed.
- Be sure to finish the interview until you see the Vehicle Summary page to save your changes.
