After you file
When testing this I received the itemized deductions on the Kentucky (KY) return (image below). If you already paid for your state return do not delete it, however if not, you can delete it and then add it back to start over.
NOTE: It may be important for you to know the following information about your Kentucky (KY) return that was recently announced.
- KY Department of Revenue-My Taxes -- Kentucky's Department of Revenue is switching to a new computer system. In order to do that they have shut down virtually all tax-related systems until March 14th. This means that Kentucky return, business OR individual, will NOT be acknowledged until the new system comes online. Returns can be e-filed, and they will be processed after the shutdown ends.
Also you can review your federal and state return using the steps below.
From the left rail menu in TurboTax Online, select Tax Tools (You may have to scroll down on the left rail menu.)
- Select Tax Tools
- On the drop-down select Tools
- On the pop-up menu titled “Tools Center”, select View Tax Summary
- On the left sidebar, select Preview my 1040
For TurboTax Desktop, change to 'Forms' and review the forms
