After you file
Do not file an amended return while the first return is still being processed. The CP 25 means they have found issues and are changing your return.
You should not need to file an amended return once you get done with the proper process and the CP 25.
If you ever do file an amended return, you must wait until after you receive your refund and enter it on the 1040x line 18.
