After you file

The Colorado Department of Revenue states, "the return processing times vary depending on many factors, including complexity of the return and our verification processes. Paper returns must have all supporting documentation included to ensure smooth processing. Taxpayers are warned that they could experience delays of as long as 60 days compared  to previous years due to Department of Revenue enhanced tax refund fraud detection efforts." Go to Revenue Online to check the status of your refund.

If your information is not showing up on the Colorado Department of Revenue, it may be still processing. However, verify the refund amount you have entered and verify that you are using the primary SSN for the refund. If it's still not showing anything, you may contact customer service at 1-303-238-7378, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or contact the Colorado Department of Revenue.
