After you file

Definitely. I will never use them again. Too many things were left in small print where I wouldn’t notice, and they use deceitful words and phrases that lead people on and the truth isn’t revealed until after when it’s too late to change your mind. I filed and was offered the option to have fees taken from my refund, which I accepted. It then asked which account I want to use, it showed my credit karma account from last year as an option with “get your refund 5 days early “ advertised next to it. It isn’t revealed until afterwards that it only applies if I pay upfront instead of paying from my refund, so why advertise it and lead me on after I initiated the payment from my refund? It no longer applied to me therefore it shouldn’t have been advertised. Of course it’s my own fault for not “reading the fine print “ first, I put too much trust in them. I won’t use them again because it rubbed me the wrong way, and it also wasn’t revealed until after that I would be charged $40 for them to intercept my refund and take their fees from it. Had I paid upfront I would have had my refund credited to my account already and saved $40. The IRS sent my refund to their bank yesterday, and I still don’t have a deposit in my CK account. I won’t use them next year. I ran the numbers for the sake of curiosity through a free file USA site and my refund would’ve been the same. Everyone the filed with the free service got their refund deposited early and didn’t pay a dime. LOL Looks like that’s the way to go next year.
