Most the TT reps you get on the phone are new hires. They are still hiring 1000’s of people to answer the phone, and they are undertrained product experts with limited access to resources about your actual refund. They are trained to direct you to the irs website, so Ask for a supervisor or resolution desk, a lot of the sups are new too but they have access to programs the others dont
