After you file

Form CA 540-ES is available for printing but does not e-file. See this TurboTax forms availability tool.

Have you been able to print other forms? Check that your printer is working by printing something else.

Here are some other general troubleshooting steps you can take:

• Shut your computer and printer down for 30 seconds, then turn them back on.
• Make sure your printer and computer have all updates installed.
• If using TurboTax Desktop, make sure you've downloaded all updates.

To print an individual worksheet from your return in TurboTax Online, before you file but after you pay for your product, you can go to Tax Tools, then Print Center. Choose to print all forms and worksheets, and save to PDF. You can then open the PDF and choose what worksheet to print. Or, you can use your device's Print Screen function.

To print your tax return worksheets and schedules after you file, please follow these instructions:

1. Log into your TurboTax account
2. Scroll to the bottom of page, click Add a State( you are not adding a state, this is just to get in the right menu)
3. Over to the left, click Tax Tools dropdown
4. Click the Print Center
5. Click the Print, save or preview this year's return
6. Check Federal returns and/or State returns
7. Select Include government and TurboTax worksheets (optional)
8. Then,click View or print forms

See the California FTB Instructions for Form 540-ES. You can use the form and its related worksheet to determine the amounts you should pay quarterly. You can make the payments online and then you do not need to submit the form to the FTB.
